English Translation of Entrance Antiphon

Roman Missal  Daniel 3: 31, 29, 30, 43, 42

All that you have done for us, O Lord,
you have done with true judgment,
for we have sinned against you
and not obeyed your commandments.
But give glory to your name
and deal with us according to the bounty of your mercy.

Graduale Romanum  Philippians 2: 10, 8, 11

At the name of the Lord let every knee bend,
in heaven, on earth and under the earth;
for the Lord became obedient unto death,
even death on the Cross;
that is why Jesus Christ is the Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
